9. AMÉNTE Mindful Stay

Agios Vasileios

「Room was perfect, being west-facing meant the mornings stayed nice and cool, which was great for breakfast outside, and then the afternoon sun was ideal for sunbathing. Having the pool right by the room wasn’t just a gimmick either, it was so nice being able to jump in whenever we felt like it. Parking was really easy, with plenty of space available. Breakfast was delicious and always arrived on time in the slot we picked. We really liked being able to order it on the app each day, it made it...

13. Nautilux Rethymno by Mage Hotels

「Beautiful hotel, but falls short of 5-star luxury. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nautilux, but it didn’t wow us. Beautiful architecture and rooms, but the experience felt more 3–4 star than 5-star luxury. The seafront location is lovely, although Old Town is a 30–45-minute walk away. Electric scooters were handy for evenings out. Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Hot food was consistently cold, poached eggs had raw whites, there were no yoghurts, few dairy-free options and the same...

「We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and...
