We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful little boutique hotel, right in the middle of all the action in Rethymno. The room itself was lovely and came with a free bottle of wine. Staff was super friendly at check in and breakfast was fantastic. Just stayed for one night, but would’ve been quite happy to stay longer.

Hotel has deal with parking 5 blocks away , was a nice touch. Easy to find. Very clean. Quiet. Staff was helpful . Luggage storage isn’t very secure but there’s staff nearby

Excellent hotel

Spacious and very comfortable accommodation in this ancient townhouse situated in the heart of the old town. Very happy with it and would highly recommend.

A lovely hotel in an old monastery building, in a great location at the heart of the city. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a room in the centre of Rethymnon.

Highly recommending VENETO hotel. Beautiful high quality furnishing and Charm of Old Town.Stuff was very helpful and always eager to help. Service great and entire experience very positive. Great shopping and restaurants within very short walking distance. However, the property is not accessible by car so you have to haul your suitcases a couple of blocks.

Disappointed, won’t stay again.

Disappointed with the hotel. Looks nice from the photos and from outside. Hotel staff is polite and helpful, however the hotel room is poorly maintained and not well maintained. Housekeeping also doesn’t seem complete, with no vanity items(eg cotton pads) at all, and water is also provided only on first day despite staying for 4 nights. Window catch is also spoilt so the window cannot be totally sealed. Also, the hotel said that 10% discount will be provided to hotel guests who dine at their restaurant (called Veneto Restaurant). When we dined there, we had made reservations beforehand and though the service seem Pleasant and friendly, no discount was given. We asked once while Paying the bill and were told that discount was already given. However we were not given a proper receipt, only had the total Amount on the receipt with no breakdown. When we asked a second time, for the actual receipt with the items we ordered (instead of just a one-liner total), the waitress told us that she has thrown the receipt away and is not able to generate a copy for us. She asked us why we needed it and we thick-skinnedly explained again that we thought no discount was given to us. Again, the same waitress assured us discount was already given. We paid the amount as charged anyway but computed the bill on our own and realised that we were not given the discount, despite us asking twice and the restaurant confirming twice that they already did.

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff was very attentive. The buffet breakfast had an excellent selection. It’s in a lovely walking section of the old city but there is parking at the Port parking lot about 5 minutes away. Will definitely stay here again.
