"The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We had a great stay at the Arenal Waterfall Lodge. The villa was clean and comfortable with a great back porch that allowed us to see wildlife. The staff was friendly, location great for visiting Fortuna Waterfall and the included breakfast/hiking trails made this a great value. The only downside is there was no onsite bar/restaurant open at the time we were staying. I'm not sure if it was the off season or something but it would have been nice to know before checking in. "

"Super simple room, and the pool was a little chilly. But that was my only complaint. I had a car rental so it was easy but other guests said it was a little isolating, but it is the most beautiful, quiet and affordable place. Beautiful views close to the falls!!"
