「It’s a lovely, quaint place. It was quite remote but that’s just the way we like it. The rooms were immaculate, extremely modern and tastefully decorated. A traditional style wee bar which added to our experience. The food was great: staff were superb being both friendly and attentive. I will return when in the Borders. Ps the locals who were in the pub added to a great atmosphere. Wonderful stay.」

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」

「Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!」
