""If you're looking for somewhere remote, this property delivers on that. But it's worth being clear about what you get for the price. There's no table anywhere in the space, which makes preparing or eating a meal awkward. The windows and walls were visibly dirty and most surfaces had a layer of dust — this didn't read as "rustic," just as not cleaned before arrival. The garden is overgrown and clearly hasn't been maintained. For what we paid, this was poor value, and I wouldn't book it again.""

"2nd floor room was noisy. Parking lot below. No free meals. Valet parking was $11 dollars per night extra. Perks program not available, being reworked. Parrot Mountain brings birds in in mornings for kids to meet."

"This was our third or fourth trip to the hotel. The room was clean, location, obviously very convenient with being just a few steps away from Gatlinburg strip. Unfortunately they cannot get the restaurant together… We tried to give it another go our last visit and it seems as though they can just not get staff or train staff properly. There were maybe five or six other patrons and one bartender he could not keep up. Honestly, I felt bad for him. Hopefully they will get some staff in there and have them trained properly. After that, we didn’t even try to eat dinner there. As we have eaten there twice before, and the food was definitely not aligned with the hotel. The first time I ordered a chicken pasta entrée it was literally a lump as it was all stuck together and mushy not to mention cold we did bring close attention to the manager. I took one bite of the food and they did not comp it. I’m sure we will be back there in a few months, but unfortunately, our dinner/drinks will be had elsewhere"

"The place was located close to many attractions. It was located right next to a flowing stream in the rear, with rooms with balconies overlooking the beautiful stream. It was very relaxing and beautiful to see! There is a large outdoor pool on site which is well maintained. Plenty of pool chairs on site to sit as well. The outside lighting by each hotel room is very unique as they are actually lights inside hanging glass mason jars! The TV screen in our room was huge with a clear, vibrant picture to watch TV prograns. And on weekends, they have a chef on site who makes made to order breakfasts for you, such as omlettes, bacon, eggs any way you like it, with plenty room to eat inside or outside on picnic tables. Great, pleasant, and welcoming staff, clean rooms, all offered at a very budget minded price for such a location as Gatlinburg! We will definitely be coming back here again in the future!"
