Room was clean but outdated. Breakfast was good. Balcony was very dirty and so much bird droppings that it stunk. Shower was very good. Bathroom was tiny. Outside common area(elevator, stairs, parking) needed tending to in a bad way. It was an average motel not a good hotel. I have definitely stayed in worse as well as much better. For the price I would stay somewhere else.

The gentleman who worked the night shift gave great directions, was very helpful and had a great sense of humor. The ladies who served breakfast, yes, fixed your plate and handed it to you, served breakfast every morning, were delightful and really took time to have small conversations with each guest in the dining room. The housekeeping staff made sure there were fresh tiles every day and also replenished the coffee. Our favorite part was sitting on the back porch and watching the wildlife. There are geese, squirrels, ducks, raccoons, a woodchuck, and a skunk that scampered by each morning. The other guests were super friendly. Easy access to Dollywood, the Island, Ole Mill and Gatlinburg via the Patriot transit center.

It's hard to say enough good about this property, and easy to see why it has a 4.8/5 rating! We were meeting friends (2 rooms were booked separetely, a week apart) and when one arrived before the rest of us, the staff asked if we wanted rooms beside each other and made it happen. The rooms are as large as they appear in the photos, or even larger - each bed area could have been an individual room with a television in each area, and the bathroom between them added a level of privacy not usually seen in 2-bed hotel rooms. The balcony is large and the 2 provided rocking chairs made for wonderful creek-watching relaxation. The property layout is unconventional and can be confusing - especially after travelling for 15 hours - haha. The office is across the street from the hotel, but there is a second building on the other side of the creek as well, around/beside an RV campground, and this is where we stayed. A "Rod Run" was taking place the weekend we stayed which made for a bit of traffic congestion and the parking lot seemed quite full, but we heard little to no noise from inside our rooms. Great place to stay in Pigeon Forge!!

The rooms were clean. But the beds had a bad smell. The rooms smell bad. One of the refrigerator didn't work and it was smelly.

They tried to put me in a shady area away from the regular hotel but they moved me, staff were nice. Be sure you asked to be at the main hotel and not the one by the campground.

The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Loved the balconys above the creek it was beautiful sitting out there in the mornings, and evenings. Breakfast was nice, and the ladies serving the hot food wete very sweet. We had a very nice relaxing time, and will definitely stay again.

The carpets in our room was very dirty. When we walked barefoot, our feet were black.the rooms were adequate and large.great beds.but in need of some upgrading and deep cleaning.The breakfast buffet needed more choices, maybe some pastries or bagels.it left alot to be desired. We ate their once and then went out to eat.the room staff brought fresh towels and emptied the trash.that was it.never vacuumed in the 4 days we were there. And unfortunately and unbeknownst to us.There was a car show going on, and they were racing up and down the street all night long.It was horrible, we were awake.All the time at night.that was no fault of the motel the traffic was unbearable.You could not even get out to have something to eat.You would be waiting in traffic for hours.

When we first arrived, the carpet was damp in some areas. When calling the front desk, they said that they do spot clean in some areas. But it was enough to wet the socks. It was a beautiful view of the river. Actually enjoyed the campfire from across the river., at the campground. The breakfast was really good. Overall, it was a nice day and a great sleep. Unfortunately, we woke to not one, but two fire alarms. No fault of the property, someone's child was pulling the alarm. It put a small damper in our stay, but it did not affect how we felt about the property.

Rooms were nice, balcony was great. Beds slept so good. Some remodeling has been done since our last stay and it was really good. Breakfast was really, really good. We did experience a fire alarm miss hap on check out day, but I would still go back.
