"My stay at Hotel Horizon by SkyCity was simply outstanding and possibly the best hotel service I have experienced in New Zealand in a very long time. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and genuinely positive. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warm attitude made the experience truly memorable. The facilities are excellent, the service throughout the hotel was brilliant, and every detail reflected a commitment to exceptional hospitality. A special mention must go to The Grill restaurant. The food was outstanding and easily among the best dining experiences I have enjoyed while staying at a hotel. The rooms were exceptional – without doubt some of the best I have stayed in. Stylish, comfortable, and beautifully presented, they made for a truly relaxing stay. An amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Hotel Horizon by SkyCity and look forward to returning. Congratulations to the entire team for delivering world-class hospitality."

"It was lovely to stay here. I was very grateful to the housecleaning staff, they did an amazing job. My toilet door had pink putty on it which looked really messy on the door. Also the shower windows had scum stains still on it. I have never seen this at any place I have stayed at before. Usually the windows are clean, shiny and clear. Still a nice place to stay."

"Close to Westlake Girls College was the only reason for staying. Room clean enough but bathroom needed a deep clean and shower head was broken but there’s good hot water. Linen was clean. There were a number of broken things in the Unit & we took pictures incase we got charged for them. Parking was outside unit. No staff present and we didnt receive an email with details about collecting the key. Hard to ask questions over the phone before hand, as the person looks after a number of places."
