The shower did not function, there was the hand held shower which was broken and so you couldn’t use the shower handless. The rain shower head flooded the floor unless you tipped towards the shower wall to prevent it from spilling over the tub and pooling on the floor. "We came to Milazzo with the intention of taking the ferry to the islands, however, it rained, and we spent an unexpected and delightful stay in the city of Milazzo. The hotel is in an ideal location if you want to reach the ferry. We walked all the way to the top of the castle, which was amazing. The streets are lovely to stroll at night, well lit and very safe.
