「Lovely old hotel in the heart of the village , roaring fire , great menu and if like me you are a coeliac you are well catered for . Parking just around the corner and very cheap Very clean room , everything needed . Excellent breakfast and so friendly , we will return 」

「The view is great. Apart from that, it looks “quirky but cute” online but in reality it’s just awkward and uncomfortable. The ceilings are low and sloped. The bunk beds are not suitable for teenagers do to the low ceiling and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. You have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bunk room. The floors are uneven and there is an odd 1 inch step between the rooms which is just a trip hazard. The bathroom is clean but sparse, not even a box of tissues....
