「The room was newly renovated with a modern design and was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Close to everything that we wanted to be near. Parking was perfect. We were very happy with our decision to stay at Harbor Bay Motel. The man helping me with checking in was terrific and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.」

「I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in...

「The room was very clean. Clean bathroom and shower. Bed was nicely arranged. Even though there was no closet space, that did not prevent my wife and I to experience a comfortable overnight stay. No complaints. Staff was very friendly. There are many shops and restaurants to choose. A very family friendly atmosphere. I would stay there again.」

「The room was rented to me with a broken bath tub nob to turn the water on/off. Although maintenance came to fix it AFTER it was rented out to me. Out of all the LaQuinta's I have stayed at across the country, this one was the worst. LaQuinta in Inglewood would be by far a better option. I would NEVER rent from the Costa/Mesa location again.」

The hotel offers a daily USD 15 credit per room for restaurant spending, but when we stayed in two rooms and spent USD 30 at Starbucks, it wasn’t deducted at checkout. Since my bill was sent directly to my email, I only realized the mistake after receiving it. Very frustrating experience.」

「room was clean and view from there was good. I checked in late and the receptionist came out from a room (may be he is in sleep mode). He checked me in a room for handicapped so I had to go back and asked for another one. He forgot to give me breakfast vouchers. Hotel is old and maintenance work is being done. Noise from work, and carpark exit was changed without clear guide.」
