「The whole experience was perfect. Jen communicated well, giving all the needed instructions about entry and free parking etc. The room and all areas of the property were well appointed, very clean and had obvious attention to detail. This place is off the charts in character. I had coffee in the turret and looked out to see the St Lawrence River. The stairs require some attention by anyone who climbs them. If was a bit more expensive than other options but well worth the extra. 」

「Second night stay, room smelled like sewage. Got a second room and bathroom had sewage smell. The gym equipment is broken and barely works. Cables snapped off. Should Not advertise fitness room If the equipment doesn’t work or isn’t maintained. Staff was excellent and food is good. Would stay again but prefer rooms that smell good. 」

「Nice enough, you get what you pay for. The rooms are very tired, the chair in my room had a stain and what I assume was a very old cigarette burn. Ceiling was... interesting. Shower curtain rod was hanging on by a wish. Downstairs, mix and match tables and chairs for breakfast. During checkin (6pm ish on a Saturday), had to wait maybe 5 minutes for the solitary staff person to get back from whatever she was doing in the basement.」
