We didn’t book breakfast but decided to have it. Such a good decision as breakfast was really good with almost too much of a selection. Pastries, breads, cereals, cheeses, hams, salmon, eggs, bacon, juices and much more."

"The Hotel is located over the river from Chinon, so a good location for visiting the town and exploring the area. There are 3 parking places outside the hotel but there is a secured off-site car park for hotel guests a short distance away. We visited during the very hot weather in June 26 and our room was very warm at night as a consequence, an electric fan is provided which we had running all night. The breakfast is traditional French fare and very good quality. There is also a courtyard garden which is ideal for relaxing in or taking your breakfast. There is a wide choice of restaurants available in Chinon and we used Bistrot Fauve in the main square, which is associated with the hotel."
