A lovely and memorable stay

Everything about our stay was amazing, the room, service, staff, amenities, location. The daily breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth it.

Overall very lovely property for the price. Easy check in and great location within walking distance of most of this beautiful town. You do have to pay for parking on site which it doesn’t say on line but there is plenty of free parking in the area. Breakfast is not included but well worth the price

Superb renovation which has created a lovely hotel. Spacious rooms ,comfortable beds, nice lounge and bar area. Good breakfast - shame that we couldn’t experience the dining room despite having asked 2 months before our arrival for a table to be booked on our first night ! (We were told it was fully booked for both nights of our stay). Helpful staff but as the restaurant is independent of the hotel they could do nothing re the dinner booking despite e mail evidence of our request. We were concerned that there was no shower mat as the shower cubicle floor was very slippery . We would happily stay again - if only to experience dinner !!!!

Lovely stay

Parking easy. Great central location. The check in was a pleasure; the hotel reception comfortable; the garden lovely. The room overlooking the Loire, clean and bright. Huge bath with shower over; L’Occitane products; large towels; efficient heated towel rail; separate w/c off the room lobby. The staff were extremely helpful. I would happily stay here again.

Best hotel in Saumur

Loved this hotel it was under the chateau and we had a lovely view of it. Nice location, well decorated and nice and clean. The room had everything you needed and there was a nice bar and garden area. The pool was nice and heated.

Perfect for an overnight en route across country.

While this is an old building, it’s very well looked after. Excellent condition, excellent room. We had an attic room which meant no view except to the sky, but also meant plenty of space. Very dog-friendly (snacks and bowl of water in the room on arrival). Beautiful location on the riverside. On the negative side, breakfast is expensive for what it is (we just went to the town centre and spent half the amount).

Wonderful hotel on the Loire

This a wonderful hotel facing the Loire on the front and Chateau Saumur on the back. It was a clean and luxurious and the staff are excellent. I will stay here if I come back to Saumur!

I absolutely loved this hotel . From the moment we checked in with the friendliest of welcomes the staff were fantastic. We parked opposite the hotel . The room was gorgeous with a view overlooking the loire. It was a superior double and was simply fantastic for the price we paid. A short stroll along the river front takes you to bars and retaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again. . The bar prices were very reasonable too. We will definately come here again
