The hotel was ok in general, however my room at the back of the hotel wasn’t well cleaned. It had an outside door, and dirty boots had left bits on the carpet. My room had no towels and no toilet paper. You’d almost think they’d forgotten to service it. The staff addressed the issues promptly when asked. The hotel served my purposes, but wasn’t great.

It was mostly clean. But for the price being paid, the care and hospitality provided was ungenerous. They wouldn't even give me the paper thin slippers without paying.

"Friendly staff. Gluten free options. Delicious breakfast. Secure parking ( slightly scary tight turning into it). Cannot find a fault. And real coffee bags in the room which gets 5 stars from me. Lovely market town to wander around"
