We had another great stay at Avani Box Hill. Perfect location near to wonderful restaurants, great shopping and public transport. Staff are lovely; friendly, welcoming, helpful, efficient. Rooms are spacious and fully contained, modern decor, beds are comfortable. Will stay there again next time.

I stayed here for 10 nights while I attended a course. A perfect welcome from a male staff member. The property is not badly positioned. Best to book parking within location as it’s all metered otherwise. Clean, very quiet and the area felt safe. A park with 1km walking/running track outside the door almost. A decent cafe next door. Eateries are scarce so best if you have a vehicle. Close to hospital if you need to be close to a hospital. Rooms are spacious enough and are well equipped for a longer stay with gas stove top, oven, microwave, kettle, pod coffee machine and toaster. Secure apartment. The staff leave you alone which was great. I highly recommend this location and would stay again.

Fingermarks on various .mirrors doors , kitchen doors.Apart from fingermarks the cleanliness and housekeeping was of a high standard.Staff were all friendly helpful and professional.They responded very well to all requests. We would not hesitate to stay there and intend to in the near future.

Good location near shops and transport
Convenient location. Friendly staff. Bathrooms functional but taps spilled water everywhere with anything other than low flow. Kitchen lacked some basics like fry pan. Very limited gym. Heated rooftop pool and spa were nice.

Apartment a little small for a 2 bedroom but it was well appointed with everything you need. There is enough parking which is good and the location is great for families. Beds and couch could be more comfortable but that is my personal taste. My only real negative feedback is the TV did not work in the main room for the duration of the stay despite front desk staff trying to fix it on the day it was reported. Service and front desk staff were very polite and helpful.

Lovely clean property with generous room. I was greeted warmly by the front desk manager who put my bag aside for me, as I had arrived at noon before the rooms were ready. When I returned later I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. 😊 The bedrooms were a great size and both had opening windows/doors for fresh air which I love in a hotel. The bathrooms were well appointed and the shower was luxurious. A big bonus was the very comfortable bed and pillows, which made for a great sleep. The kitchen was great, and I wish I had more time to spend enjoying the balcony space. I was able to walk to the supermarket and shopping complex/restaurants from the hotel. I also dined at the the lovely RSL next door. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel and will stay again next time I head to Epworth Box Hill for appointments or surgery.

Enjoyed our short stay.
Taking my sister to hospital became so much easier with staying at this lovely apartment. We enjoyed having sperate bedrooms and bathrooms within the one apartment. The pool was inviting. Staff were friendly.

The images or description of the room is not quite accurate as they didn’t specify that the photo online may not be the room you are getting. Also the tv in bedroom is certainly not 42” which again not specify. I was informed none of the room has bathtub, despite in description it stated bath/shower. The housekeeping service is only a top up of amenities and made your bed. They didn’t explain that the bed sheet isn’t part of this service. Apparently you have daily service and weekly service. Which a little bummer considering you pay a little more to get this service and expected to have the sheet changed during the service. Perhaps also specify the reception hours as well, would be handy for traveller that arriving or having plans late at night. We had issue with the aircon which was rectified.

We have couple of types and two-bedroom superior suites and the lay out could be different, but room size and facilities are same. The housekeeping daily service is including top up amenities and basic cleaning only, if you stay more than 7 days then we provide weekly housekeeping service without any additional fee which entitles to change bed sheets and clean whole apartment. The reception is open from 7am to 11pm only but we have a building caretaker and emergency contact numbers that are available after hours to assist guest with any quires. We hope we will get another opportunity to welcome you again at AVANI Melbourne Box Hill Residences. TV remote and bedside light not working, no ironing board, which was brought up late at night (appreciated) and the coffee table had a glued on felt cover top which was badly stained (not hygienic). We loved our time at Avani Box Hill. We've stayed in numerous places around the area, and this is definitely now our 'go to' spot. The apartment was amazing, and the view across to the mountains was just beautiful. It was such a bonus to have secure parking available onsite and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The apartments are close to shops and transport and the cafe downstairs is lovely. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I originally booked for 2 nighta due to a family emergency whilst working. Not only was the extension handled seemlessly despite being almost completely booked out, the hotel staff were able to let me make use of the lounge area after checking out whilst i waited for my flight.

New spacious apartment in great location
The reception staff were very helpful, no problem asking for extra coffee or tea etc. The apartment was beautiful, great northern view. Right in front Bus, tram stops and a lovely RSL for meals. Breakfast downstairs was nice too. We did not like the couch in lounge , very uncomfortable and taps, too splashy, messy. Bed and linen were good quality

Perfect choice for a serviced/self-contained apartment. It was well equipped and well presented. Great location close to shoppping centre, transport and restaurants. Very friendly, helpful reception staff. The cooktop wasn't as clean as it could have been but that is a minor criticism. We really enjoyed our stay at Avani and will definitely return when next in Melbourne.
