"I really enjoyed this hotel and would absolutely return. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were such a plus for my son- our room was just steps away. We also enjoyed the discounted breakfast at the restaurant. The front desk staff was super personable and friendly even though there was a little snafu with our checkin. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room - even with free bottled water and cookies! Highly recommend for those passing through Ely!"

"Average room. Clean, but toilet and shower were very low. Central location so walkable to some restaurants and casinos. Check in was on a video screen so we were greeted by a man on screen when we walked into an office. That was a first for us. We had to input some info manually on the screen. Not terrible but just different. Personally, I like in-person better."

"Clean room. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Internet was good. Grocery store across parking lot very convenient. Had dog with us and there was area out back for him. "

"Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ely by IHG is the best alternative, in my opinion, to The Prospector Casino right next door. Breakfast is filling and free coffee is available in the lobby 24/7 for the coffee lovers like me. The not so good was that the fridge in my room did not have a freezer, as a result, I had to eat the 3 frozen meals I brought with me all at once, otherwise they would have gone bad; the ice machine on my floor was not working, and the staff could be a tad friendlier. Overall, it was a good place to stay. "

"Very nice staff and fun eclectic vibe. The Mexican restaurant inside was excellent. The only con was how smoky the small casino was. Very noticeable through Lobby and casino. We will look at other sleep accommodations next visit but still come to the restaurant. The fried ice cream was almost too pretty to eat"

"Staff was great upon check-in. Room conditions weren't great. Carpet was stained, rust in mini fridge . Just felt dirty. Bed was SUPER comfortable. Location is right on a main corridor so sleeping was interrupted with traffic noise."

"This is a great find in Ely. There is a bit of construction on the main drag but once done, it will be so much nicer and the downtown will be revitalized. This property is walking distance from downtown. They gave us a breakfast voucher for a local restaurant (in walking distance) and the food was top notch. The property is vintage, but relatively peaceful and super clean and tidy. I'm pretty sure it's headed for boutique chic in a few years. "
