"This is the best “passing through” hotel in Vicksburg in my opinion. I’ve stayed here multiple times and am always satisfied with the room, the price and the hotel staff. Always friendly and always helpful. On this stay, I woke up late and rushed down to the lobby to get some brekkie right as they were closing up and a staff member working there went the extra mile to drum up some food for me after it had been put away. My other biggie is how well the A/C works in the rooms and it was great here especially since it’s in the 90s and humid. All in all, this is the best place to stay in town."

"Several of us were traveling together and booked well in advance. They overbooked and did not make us aware until check-in and we had an eight night stay planned with children. It was the most inconvenient experience ever. The manager left a young new worker by herself to deal with this issue on one of their busiest check-in days of the year. She called and he talked with me and he was so rude. Then he proceeded to tell me that the only way that a room can be guaranteed there is if we were to pick up the phone and make a phone call and book with them. That if even if we did it online through Wyndham or their website, they cannot guarantee it unless we personally spoke with them every time we wanted to book a room, we will never book here again until under new management and renovations."

"This was honestly the single worst hotel stay of my entire life. The hotel was dirty (not sure I encountered a clean surface at any point), the entire hotel smelled like weed, nothing was well-maintained, and we were given a room with a non-functional bathroom door. The bottom of the door scraped the floor such that it was nearly impossible to close. And I don’t think we would have wanted to close the bathroom door anyway, because the backside of the door had no handle! They assigned us a room with no door handle. Also, half the electrical outlets and one of the lamps did not work. The entire floor of the hotel room was sticky, even the part that was carpeted. How is that even possible? Oh, and half the time we walked by the front desk, there was nobody there. One time, it was because the front desk worker who demanded that I sign a paper saying I wouldn’t smoke was outside smoking. Seriously terrible hotel experience."
