When you pull up it is a little questionable. But the room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. Located perfectly to attend the McHenry Music Festival. And the price was fantastic

I had a really great stay at the McHenry Inn. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was, and my room was surprisingly large and spacious. It was comfortable, well maintained, and honestly exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and helpful — even at 2:00 in the morning, which says a lot about the level of service. I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely stay here again. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and genuinely good service. Highly recommend the McHenry Inn!

Dirty linens, dirty chairs/tables, 20” TV did NOT work, 2 pillows per queen size bed they refuse to give you more. Tape on the walls & plastic still on lamps but lamp shades were stained? Better off sleeping in your car & buying a pillow from Walmart! AC did work & water was warm that’s about it. I’ve never been in a dirtier hotel in my entire existence.

This property changed ownership between my reservation and stay. They did not have it so could not honor what i booked but we did have a place to stay. They made that part right. In general the place is basic, rundown, and not everything worked. They freshly painted our room around a lamp though lol. Staff was nice but I’d say skip it if you can.

Rented the jacuzzi King room. Tub was in the bathroom and was standard sized. Big enough for one person. Held together with tape. Room also had no television as they said they were working on getting it replaced. Didn’t stay longer than 10 minutes. Will not return.
