Top Maya Biosphere Reserve Hotel Reviews

Hotel Casona del Lago
8/10 Good
"Great location, Staff, property, breakfast, free transfer to airport."

Jungle Lodge Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The location of the hotel is great, and I really enjoyed the shuttle service. The bus drivers were friendly and helpful, and one driver in particular went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I also enjoyed the tour guides, who were knowledgeable and pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was disappointing. They were not welcoming, did not seem friendly, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Customer service at the front desk has a huge impact on the overall guest experience, and because of that, I cannot rate the hotel higher. I hope management addresses this issue, as the rest of the staff and the location have a lot of potential."

Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This place blew us away! It’s secluded, but they have most things you’d need right there. Extremely friendly and responsive staff. Their shuttle service to and from the airport really took the stress off from wondering about transportation arrangements. I was in a rush when booking this place, so I didn’t read through most of the descriptions. We were so pleasantly shocked at how much there was to do there. The museum, the lagoon tour, and pool area were all we had time for, since our personal schedule was tight, and I can rave enough about them. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys echoing through the trees was terrifying at first because we didn’t know about them, but we laugh about it now and appreciate the experience. We had the best servers too. Alex!! Alex was the cherry on top to our stay. He took great care of us and even remembered our food preferences from the night before. When we ordered room service on our last night, he delivered the order with all the personal touches (and we didn’t mention it that time). Thank you so much Alex! My only regret was not staying longer."

Ramada Tikal Isla De Flores Hotel
8/10 Good
"Well located, nice A/C in the room. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. I think this was the best feature of the hotel. We felt safe and well taken care. One of the pools was not open which not a as a bummer. But overall it was a good experience."

Hotel Gringo Perdido
10/10 Excellent
"If you are looking for a nice, beautiful, cozy, economically accessible place, Hotel Gringo Perdido is your best option"

Hotel Casona de La Isla
10/10 Excellent
"Ok question are u looking for a room with fridge, microwave and more room then get the apartment. If u just want a room closer to the pool and restaurant get a room they have single and double beds not to big but bigger restrooms. Very close to the lake. So visually very nice sunset amazing. Overall great hotel would definitely come back"

Hotel Del Patio
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel del patio was a beautiful quaint hotel in a wonderful location walking distance to downtown Flores. It was extremely clean and very friendly people. I wish we were able to stay longer than 2 days!"

Hotel Camino Real Tikal
10/10 Excellent
"Todo estuvo excelente"

Isla de Flores Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Location on Flores island was prime. The hotel is cute & probably one of the best deals in the area. Thankfully the rooms are air conditioned, but the rest of the hotel isn’t so it’s quite muggy & warm everywhere else + they don’t have elevators so going up & down stairs in muggy conditions was not super fun. That said the hotel was clean, convenient & staff was kind….overall a good choice for the area."
