「Great hotel for the Peak District」

「Staff were welcoming, breakfast was great and parking conveniently just behind the hotel. The manager was very helpful when we had to leave early as we had a fault with our car door, and offered us a free night in the future! Only concern was the noise from motorbikes which gather on the main road for fish and chips. But the Deluxe room was wonderful, and spacious, and like stepping back in time with an array of antique furniture and fittings.」

「Really really bad. Dirty, expensive, poorly maintained and had hardly any sleep due to kids screaming and playing knock a door run until 11pm. Wouldn't recommend - we travel theme parks around the world and stay in on site accommodation regularly. This was by far the worst.」

「Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. 「Beautiful property and decor however the main let down was the service of the staff in all areas of the hotel. We experienced poor service at breakfast, the bar, and reception. Staff seemed so disinterested it really made the overall stay unpleasant.」
