「Look, don't get me wrong, it's not terrible by any means. It's just that for a hotel that's trying to play at this level, it struggles with some of the basics. If you're having a short stay there's no housekeeping by default, (which they don't tell you when you arrive) but there's only a small (non-heated) towel rail, so you're going to have soggy towels on day 2. Yes, there was a (small) sign in reception saying this, but it's the kind of thing it would be good for the receptionist to...

「I paid for an upgrade but when we arrived we were not told until we moved in that there was scaffolding in front of the window and a walkway.as we were unpacking a young couple walked into the room and told us it was thier room reception had double booked the room.on our last night we went to the claret Jug as we didn’t want a meal just a snack despite the menu saying they were open until 9pm they wouldn’t serve us as they said they stop serving at 6 o clock, it was 10 past 6」
