Disadvantages: has a cabin type smell, right off a very busy road/not walkable area, loud road and train noise (high speed train directly out the backyard area), sparsely furnished (no actual kitchen table), no living room coffee table, deck and backyard totally unusable/rundown. 「The house is beautiful with lots of room. We were four couples and we never felt we were on top of each other. The enclosed outside deck was a comfortable place to sit and talk in the evening without being bothered by insects. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable; my wife and I had the Bee Room, which was decorated with bee motifs everywhere. 「This quirky house had great views of the water from the dining area and one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom had lots of light and needed blinds. Coffee pot did not work well. Ours was a short two day weekend for a wedding . The cottage had all we needed. There is no oven but had microwave, toaster oven and range.」

「Great family resort. Our grandkids loved the indoor pool and outdoor amenities. There were a couple of small issues but Kevin and his family were on top it, apologetic and fixed the issues quickly. Our cottage was very clean, well appointed with what we needed for our group on a 4 night stay. This family takes great care to make you feel welcome and comfortable.」
