"We were unable to stay at this property due to an issue with the hot tub so they offered us an alternative accommodation which also had a hot tub. The accommodation was ok, but the hot tub was dirty and when we put the jets on, lots of small black dirt came out so we didn't use it. overall a disappointing experience "

"Masseria San Michele has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From all the little design touches to the gorgeous breakfast spread, the sweetest dogs and little cat, and the pool area - everything was perfect! I especially loved the bathrooms which were gorgeously decorated, filled with local organic products and a great shower. The bed was super comfortable too - and each of the rooms have their own little patio area with a comfy area and a table.

"Nyrenoverat o vackert inrett Boende med trevlig trädgård och parkering alldeles intill gamla staden. Utmärkt frukostbuffé.
Enda problemet var att Hotels.com hade angivit kl 15 som check-in och kl 11 som check-out. Korrekt var kl 16 och kl 10 vilket gav oss vissa problem."

"Very cute hotel to stay at. I really liked the bed and balcony area. We enjoyed the breakfast and the neighborhood. Super easy to get around and very peaceful area. Would definitely stay there again if we happened to be in the area. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel San Michele. Our room was big, comfortable, and well-equipped, with plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were comfy for a great night's sleep, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was great too, with lots of variety to start the day.
The outdoor pool was clean, well looked after, and a perfect spot to relax and cool off after spending the day exploring nearby Martina Franca.
The location was excellent, just a short walk from the historic centre and very easy to get around on foot. The flat, well-kept paths made it simple to use a buggy or pushchair, which was a big plus for us as a family.
Overall, we’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"
"The property was very quiet and Maria was a very gracious host, however she only spoke Italian so there was a (mis)communication barrier. Pool towels were an additional €10/each—something that should be included in a €2000+ rental. I would understand if the towel fee was refundable to prevent damage or loss. Check in took about 20-25 minutes and included a tour of the property, too long since we paid in advance and signed all required documents prior to arrival. There was an additional €250 security deposit paid in cash at check in. And city tax per person per day paid in cash due upon arrival. The outside area & “shared” pool were very nice, but the limited pool hours & strict rules were too complicated. Location is good for visiting many of the surrounding small towns & communities. There is no AC and the temps during the day reached 36+. There was only one fan for 5 rooms and because of the unique architecture designed to keep heat in there was limited/no air circulation at night. In my opinion, this home would be best enjoyed in cooler months. Kitchen was tiny but equipped with the basics so we made it work for 6 people. Overall a nice place to stay but be aware of the long check in process, extra fees, strict rules, and weather conditions."
"We spent 4 wonderful days at La Rosa dei Trulli, and it was simply an outstanding experience.
The property is beautifully maintained, and you can immediately see the passion and attention to detail that Piero puts into making his guests feel welcome. Breakfast was plentiful, with fresh croissants, toast, cookies, and everything needed to start the day. We especially appreciated the care shown for our son, who has celiac disease, as gluten-free options were thoughtfully provided for him.
The location is another huge advantage. It is perfectly situated for exploring some of the most beautiful places in Puglia. Alberobello is just minutes away, and with short drives you can easily visit Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Bari Old Town, and many other stunning destinations. It was the perfect base for discovering and experiencing all the beauty and charm that Puglia has to offer.
It was truly an unforgettable vacation, combining relaxation with the opportunity to explore this incredible region. A special thank you to Piero, who was always kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail.
We highly recommend La Rosa dei Trulli to anyone looking for an authentic stay in a beautiful, peaceful setting with the perfect location to explore the wonders of Puglia. We will definitely be back!"
"This is a gem. Everything is perfect, the owner Dorothea is so nice. Room, pool, breakfast, is #1
Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it. That’s was the best place we rented. Trulli D’autore is magic
Thank you Dorothea for your kindness!"
"A very beautiful and quiet and relaxing place. The breakfast was amazing; the pool was very clean, the stuff was very polite, the facilities were incredible. Highly recommended. The coffee was also delicious."
"The hotel room was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The hotel staff was beyond attentive and hospitable. We were greeted in the parking lot by two staff members that proceeded to help with our luggage. We were then served tea upon our entrance.
Their BROS restaurant was superb! Excellent service and a great meal!
Even their "resident" cat, which we endearingly nicknamed Puccia (for the Puglian bread) Martina (for the town) was so so friendly. His name during our stay was Puccia Martina.
The grounds were so private and peaceful.
In a great location close to town. We used this as our home base and drove to places like Locotorondo, Alberobello, Ostuni, and several beautiful beaches.
Would not think twice to stay there again."
"Kept in touch with hosts on our way there re timing changes as requested. Always had a response almost immediately after sending message. Route there from the main road is very single track, and a bit tight in places, especially when the car hire company gives you “…a little upgrade….” Toyota Yaris or equivalent is now an MG SUV - nice for longer drives but a little wide for some roads.
Warm welcome by Giovanni - thank you for speaking English to us. Short tour of estate and the lovely pool area but only opened at 10:00 (hubby likes to swim lengths in the morning and couldn’t) then to the trulli we had booked, which was amazing. Very chintzy but cute and clean. Kitchen is equipped if you want to eat in, although fridge is not particularly cold, and quite a few of the plates (also chintzy) were a tad chipped. Only downside was a/c located in living area not bedroom, and, apparently by Italian government law, is set to 26degrees, which wasn’t very effective. Not shown how to operate it and no power off button on wall thermostat so only way to turn off when we were out for the day was pulling the plug out. Be aware that the toilets here are very low to the ground, which doesn’t help if you have arthritic knees. The toiletries in the bathroom smelt really nice. TV channels limited. Free WiFi but poor connectivity. Beautifully kept grounds, quiet guests whilst we were there. If you want a peaceful, unique place to stay, then this is definitely the place for you."
"What a wonderful three-night stay we had in Martina, in no small part to Sara and Francisco, who were amazing. The room itself was fantastic; we've stayed in Trulos in Italy before, but being in the heart of the old town as well felt almost fairytale. The room was superbly fitted out, and Sara's decorations made it extra special."
"Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
One thing I really appreciated was the convenient parking area, which made arrival and departure easy. Having breakfast included was also a great bonus, with a good variety and a pleasant start to the day.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
