We spent a fabulous 4 nights here. Rachele was incredibly helpful with everything, including getting around Monopoli, restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved every minute. ❤️
Excellent stay! All the amenities you’ll need and more. Super comfy bed, bathrobes and awesome hot tub! Adjacent to the best part of the city for food and fun. Komera Cucina is within 100 feet of the room and the food there is to die for! Try the pistachio crusted seared tuna - amazing! Five stars on everything!
What a lovely property in the heart of the old town. Surrounded by amazing restaurants, bars and shops. Only a short walk to sandy beaches. We were greeted by the lovely Rachael who made us feel very welcome. Our room was a great size and even had a bath. The pool is only a spa but the terrace area was lovely. Would highly recommended staying here.
Great location, clean room, very helpful staff and a break fast at the restaurant next door. Room didn’t get completely dark and there was some outside noise. But would stay again!
Loved the location, style of room and size. Lots of character. Very clean. Great location in Monopoli old town. Perfect as a base. Friendly staff, helpful with lots of advice and suggestions. Breakfast at Komera was ok and worth the money. If we came back we would stay here again. Thank you
Nice room right off the pedestrian street, clean and comfortable bed and nice pillows. Host was amazing, making recommendations, reservations, providing and iron and ice. Breakfast add on was great and super value. Location is perfect.
This is an excellent property to stay in right in the heart of Monopoli. The staff and especially Ilenia go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful holiday.
You have many restaurants and bars all around you and within easy walking distance.
Thank you Ilenia for a great experience in your hotel.
Loved this spot!! Ilenia was amazing and picked me up from the train station. Excellent English. She sent me w a map of the city and even let me know about St Giuseppe festival that next night and where to go! The location was convenient to everything, right by the water. Although I did get lost a couple of time (my own fault) finding the spot at the end of the day. Rooms were beautiful. Shower was excellent. I loved this place and stayed there about 4 or 5 nights then made a switch to a spot w a kitchen.
Directly in the heart of the old town, Ilenia runs the most pleasant and happy small hotel(?). If you’re looking for hotel based activities this isn’t for you. If you like older buildings with beautifully renovated rooms capturing their history, this is the place.
As for the soul of this location is Ileana. She will make you her guest and provide you all you need to know about her beautiful town
One note, if you have physical difficulties this may not be the best place. The historic center doesn’t allow vehicles, is quite hilly, and primarily cobblestone paths.
Please note that Expedia stated that there is a seasonal outdoor pool at Palazzo Kapace and a hot tub. This is incorrect and there is only a small hot tub. We had a problem with a vibrating noise in our room as we were under the boiler for the hot tub and did not sleep at all well the first night and would have moved out. In fairness to the owner, she sorted it out very efficiently so we stayed.
