Mariposa comfort
Relly liked the location, and the employees were great. Place is clean and great value for the money. Only negative was the constant smell of weed in a non-smoking hotel. I guess the other guest dont think weed is still smoking.

Had no issues staying there. There were some noises from other patrons but they supplied ear plugs just in cast it bother you. Overall, no complaints.

The Staff is amazing here. Incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to treat each customer as an individual with individual requests. I had a great experience with the entire staff but definitely Theresa went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable n my room. I will always recommend based on my experience

Smoke alarm battery was low and beeped all the time from 2:30 am. Had to have desk person come to room to make TV work.

The hotel was nice generally and breakfast was free and options were good too. The room we had was not nice. I think other rooms were nicer. When we reserved the room there were 5 other rooms available according to Expedia, but our room was at the end of the hall on first floor, was dark inside and had a wall view. There was water left in the ice bucket from last guest and the clock was unplugged and not set. We also had to call the front desk to get the TV working. The bathroom was nicely remodeled and water pressure was almost too much. The shower did not have a shelf for the soap and shampoo. As i said, maybe other rooms were nice, but we were not impressed with ours.

Bad experience. Very bad sound insolation, we heard people walking above from 5am to 8am so we couldn't sleep most of the night, it was really loud even though we used the provided earplugs. We had a 2 nights stay so in the morning we asked to be moved to the top floor to avoid the noise the second night. Even though asked very nicely, the manager wasn't receptive to our problem and didn't want to do anything. He mentioned that he would then have to clean our room of the first night and didn't want to do so. He had an attitude and clearly didn't care, really bad service. Lastly, the room was not clean. We found hairs in the bed. Sheets also looked pretty old and used for a long time, it would be good to change them. I've came many times to Mariposa in other hotels and never had such a bad experience, won't come back to this hotel.

Property is close to yosemite which is great. But the property wasnt as clean , underneath beds it was completely dusty and the bathroom smelled like a wet rag. Also in the back where u park the door was open for anyone to come in .

The young lady that checked us in was very nice. She even moved us to a different room because the tv wasn’t working right. The room was ok, bed not so great, but shower was fantastic. Walls are very thin, doors slam and people above the first night sounded like a circus! One door to parking lot was not secure, and light hanging from the fixture there. Pretty close to Yosemite which is why we booked there. Definitely needs some maintenance.

Very convenient, well-kept property in a town (Mariposa, CA) with limited options. Staff very helpful, beds sleep well & the pool is a plus for kids/families. The breakfast area is too crowded. This hotel should consider renovating & annexing part of employee back room to create a small breakfast area.

Great weekend!
We had a great stay! This hotel is about 45 minutes from Yosemite. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, service was great. The location was convenient and close to other things like food and gas.

First time at the Monarch Inn and I would definitely stay here again! Friendly staff and rooms were clean. Outdated but clean! Lots of small, family owned stores within walking distance for shopping.
