"This property is set on a very steep street. Walking from bottom (beach access) to top will leave you drenched in sweat given the heat and humidity. The beach has private access but it is a bit far and again very steep. Parking is horrendous due to steep incline and tight spaces. If you love parallel parking on a steep street, you will leave this. Rooms are nice enough and breakfast is excellent. "

"We had an excellent time since we got to the property. Everybody was extremely friendly. We had an amazing time at their facilities. The pool was awesome. Staff was very attentive. Beers were extremely cold so we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend anybody looking for an amazing view to go and stay at this place. It’s very close to everything. "Room was clean, but needs updating. Staff was friendly, but restraunt service was slow and unreliable."

"The rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is noisy with loud music playing until late at night and dogs barking. In the room adjacent to mine someone was having an argument for about 45 minutes. Yelling could be heard clearly in my room even with the door closed."

"We stayed in the toucan suite. It was a beautiful site up on the hill, but the hike up there was a little tough. Stairs were not built for an easy climb. The staff were friendly and helpful, but there were not enough of them. Our biggest disappointment was the food. The breakfast was great, but we had dinner before an excursion and it took forever to get our food. The salad was old and the rest of the food was just ok. Nothing special. They did however, discount our food somewhat when we parted our bill and explained which was satisfying. They also need some more comfortable reclining chairs at the pool as there was not much place for people to relax comfortably. Overall a nice place, but lacking in a couple of areas. It’s too bad because it wouldn’t take much to make it a much more enjoyable experience. "

"Great stay! We stayed for 4 nights and it was a great stay. We were welcomed by a family of monkeys when we first got there. Super cool ! Renata was very welcoming and helpful. The room was great with a little kitchenette which we used every morning for coffee and breakfast - perfect location to go to Manuel Antonio or Quepos, as it is right in between. Another plus was the place next door also has live music on Friday nights so easy walk for lively entertainment. Pool was a perfect way to end a busy day of exploring the towns around us. Very refreshing - plus some great wild life around the property. Highly recommend! "

"Spotless!!!!!!!! Nice smell. Location was perfect. Close to Manuel Antonio, and Quepos. So you get some jungle and some city. I would recommend some hooks on the wall to hang clothes. Everything else was top notch. Love the bathroom, the bed, the view and air conditioning "

"Staff are happy and very helpful, but this property is extremely dated. There is no way this can be considered luxury. Feels like a 3-star at best. We couldn't wait to leave."
