"First two nights I was in room 136. First night was ok. The next day, workers were hammering and nailing right next to my room and this disturbed me for many hours. I work on my computer and talk on the phone and this noise was a real problem. On the 2nd reservation, I was moved to Room 118, maybe the worst room in the hotel. The two windows faced the alleyways and several trash dumpsters. I heard the constant sound of vehicles in the alleyways and the sound of people and dumpster divers and others going into the dumpsters. This kept me up off and on for hours. People and barking dogs and vehicles could be constantly heard outside the windows. This is the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel room. Though this may not be a big deal, the TV remote control did not completely work. I told the front desk and they couldn’t do anything about it. One time I walked into the bathroom and a cockroach was running across the floor. During the evening I was hearing a loud buzz coming into the room. I tried to figure out where it was coming from. Finally I zeroed into the refrigerator as the source of the buzz. I had grocery items in there. I turned down the coldness number and finally the buzz disappeared. And all the other noises kept going on and on. Finally, there was a spotlight of some sort in the alleyway which came through the window and this window had no shade on it. I had to deal with that as well all night long. "

"Hotel was great especially if you are booked with a cruise! They have a free shuttle to the port. CLEAN rooms love the design and the patios! Would definitely stay here again. Only downside is not too many food options but only a 3 min uber ride to DT Long Beach. Lots of things to do when/if weather permits "

"I didn’t stay at this motel for myself, but I booked a room for a friend that was experiencing homelessness and offered to help for a few days. It was unfortunate that the staff was extremely rude and not helpful, I definitely wouldn’t recommend or use this place again based on that alone."

"Okay there are a few pros and cons here, but I will start off with the best thing about the stay; which is “The Breakfast Bar” diner right next door! They have a full bar a delicious food. Regardless how the day might of gone; I got to end my stay with breakfast there. I've been to the Breakfast bar before but I totally wish I would of realized it was that close. The staff was helpful and kind, however everytime I tried calling prior to check in, nobody answered regardless what time I called. I messaged via Expedia messenger and still no answer. Luckily it wasn't anything urgent but I definitely wish there was someone I could talk to about my questions so I could manage my trip better. The cleanliness was there but definitely take your own toiletries! This place is very minimal. A simple for the the night stay. The bed it setself was super comfy!!! It may not look fluffy but it definitely felt like memory foam. The sheets made me a bit itchy but maybe it was just the detergent. Again; I was a woman on a mission ballin on a budget; not on a vacation. A LOT of noise till past midnight and early @6am even with the windows closed. I was here for school and just needed a place to sleep, but had a rough time sleeping. So if you NEED sleep, I wouldn't say this is the place for you. This isn't luxury but definitely convenient. The best thing about this is the breakfast place right next to it. I like that they have vynal floors. Overall 6/10 if I'm being picky."
