Great location. Right next to Vons supermarket. Great access to public transportation. Only drawback is very low pressure in toilet so need to flush multiple times and in several stages.

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating (6.4); that worried me at first. However, I had no problem at all with the room, staff, or area. It's an older motel and not a destination in itself but the room was nice, spacious, and clean. I was in Long Beach for a Comic Con and it was about a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center. There is a Von's grocery store one block away, and a number of restaurants close by. The only negative I could think of was there is a light on the balcony that stayed on all night, so while the room was dark, it wasn't totally dark. No big deal.

This property was very clean, comfortable, and everything worked as expected. Wish there was a pool but being so close to the beach worked out. Super convenient location to dining, shopping (and again the beach)! We stayed for 4 nights and had zero complaints.
