「Very nice little hotel with excellent desk staff who were very helpful and are there 8am-10pm, something which is becoming rare in Japan these days. 「Building is very close to the street, it can be noisy at night with cars pass by. They do provide ear plugs if you need them.
Buses near the hotel is not very frequent and tend to delayed. Plan accordingly. Trams are 10 mins walk and you have to walk pass the red lights district at night. It’s pretty safe though. Plenty of Restraurant in that neighbourhood.
I like the hard mattress but the pillows are too tall for me.
Communications with the hotel is almost flawless. They reply very quickly...

"Vintage style hotel, 5-10 minutes to Hiroshima Castle and A-bomb museum. Hotel staff are super polite and nice, can communicate with English. Love the Columba Bar, relaxing environment and staff are charming and sociable. Not recommend the sky top bar. Room are clean and comfortable, but no usb charge port at bedside, TV channel are limited. Good overall"
