「Whenever I book a cruise that is not leaving out of New York I always come in at least one day early. This cruise I stayed at The Alex Hotel and it was wonderful! Ten minutes car ride from the port, clean hotel, bed and hot water was great. Staff was very accommodating even before I arrived. Set up a taxi before my arrival so I didn’t have to worry about a thing after an 8 hour flight. I would recommend this hotel hands down. 「It’s a scam! I booked the “Classic Double or Twin Room, Partial Sea View” and it costed much more than the normal standard room which doesn’t indicate the SEA VIEW on the title. Guess what I got? A room with ZERO Sea View! I can only saw a huge building standing Outside my window. I took the photos for the record and told the receptionists, they just listened and say nothing. 「We booked a room for one night after a cruise and were amazed by the staff kindness for letting us check in very early, provided water and free drinks at the bar and cleaned the room in between our errands. We definitely recommend the place for a short stay after or before a cruise. They also booked us a taxi to the airport and the food at the pool was excellent.」
