"Great place to rest when not exploring Yellowstone. Views of the lake are beautiful. Staff at the lodge was not the most friendly we encountered on this long trip. BUT, staff at the Lake House restaurant on site was AMAZING. The tacos, chips and margaritas were so good and perfect casual atmosphere for my family after a long day in the car. The restaurant staff was so friendly and it made our stop in Grant Village awesome!
The room itself was clean, lodge felt very safe, beds were comfy, would definitely stay again. "
"I didn't expect all the comforts of home but we were there to see Yellowstone not sit in a hotel room. The room was adequate for our needs. Clean, AC worked good, instant hot water in the bathroom, plenty of clean towels. I would have liked the towels to be closer to the shower instead of across the room. I shared the room with my 2 grandsons ages 11 and 13 so had to dress in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have a place to set the clothes I was putting on. The room adjoined to my grandson's parent's room so we left the connecting door open most of the time. That was a plus."
"Property was VERY clean. Our room was bigger than I anticipated. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Close to West Entrance Yellowstone. Would stay there again."
"The inn was built in 1903 and opened in 1904. It is absolutely incredible to see what they built at the time. The wood structure is beautiful and it really is a treat to stay there and be able to walk over to Old faithful and all the other geysers and springs. It was a treat to stay one night. I wouldn't stay more than a night but it's great to stay because after 5pm it clears out and at 6am hiking along the trails to see the pools and geysers and seeing a sunset with very few people was a treat. Highly recommended. "
