"The location is great where trolley and bus stops are available practically across from the hotel. Unlike the beach front hotels, at the Malia you get see some mom&pop eating places that are very good. The atmosphere within the hotel is much quieter than the other hotels that I have stayed along the beach walk. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Many stores within the area and the International Market place was a short walk away. I even found a place to have breakfast for 12.95 instead of the 20.00 along the beach walk it was also a short walk away. I would recommend this hotel."

"Beautiful property and room! We had the ocean view with the king size bed and I think we found our go to hotel when traveling to Oahu. It has a bridge on 2nd floor that’ll take u straight to alamoana mall which is super useful!"

"For our first time in Oahu our stay was perfect. It's close to everything even to drive out it's not bad. The only thing I do have to say is don't get fooled by the options when booking a room for ocean view, partial or marina view. I payed a little extra for the ocean and Hilton's pond view for the fireworks show but instead got the marina view which is on the back side , I did not appreciate that at all. The pictures for these options are clearly not correct. At the end, you can't complain or request any refunds because they say that it is still an "ocean view" ."
