Moon Palace Jamaica – All Inclusive

"I liked the cleanliness of the property and the amenities. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly however the vacation consultants were aggressively trying to get me to attend a presentation. My room was called about 4 times in their attempt to get me to buy into a timeshare/residence. I found this to be disturbing and quite annoying. After checking out I was approached again about buying a coupon for a future stay. When I declined I was asked “what’s holding me back?” I was here for a vacation not a negotiation with moon palace about spending my hard earned money with them. This is my third time but I doubt I will be coming back. It just feels like they don’t appreciate my business and don’t care about my desire to have a relaxing experience. The other downside to this was the 1 hour 45 minute shuttle to and from Montego Bay airport. I would much rather stay in MoBay for my future Jamaica visits."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. If you’re planning a short trip and want somewhere comfortable to stay, I highly recommend the Sand and Tan beach Hotel. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the parties on the weekend are so much fun. If you’re a young couple or anyone looking to immerse yourself in Jamaican culture with great food and great service, then this is the perfect place for you. It is perfectly situated in Ocho Rios where you can access the great excursions nearby and the staff are all friendly and willing to assist you with anything you need. I will definitely be looking to return in the future."

"Our stay was nearly perfect. We have traveled extensively throughout the world, so we truly recognize and appreciate exceptional service when we experience it. The level of service and attention to detail at this hotel was simply amazing—honestly, among the very best we have experienced anywhere. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. The staff made us feel completely at home—perhaps even better than at home! Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care made our time here truly memorable. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast at the hotel was phenomenal. One issue was that we were stranded outside the hotel one night as gate was closed and it took half an hour for the security guard to hear us and open the gate. Hotel may wish to consider giving guests a keynote or a gate pass in case they return late and security does not hear them or to provide an emergency contact tact to the security or management. But apart from that it was a lovely stay."

"Our stay at Whispering Seas was lovely. It did start out a little rocky, but Melanie, Melanie, Melanie!! The communication with Melanie was top-tier, and she addressed our issue immediately. I am planning on returning with my entire family next year and hope Melanie will have space to accommodate us all. Two suggestions I have are: having 2 blow dryers available to those who frequent the pool/beach, and a full-length mirror. I have to add that the location is perfect, as it is right outside of Ocho Rios, less than 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle. I am already missing the views and hearing the waves crashing along the shore. Thanks, Melanie for an awesome week away."
