「The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great! 「The hotel room which looks the same as shown in the photos provided is clean and new. The staff members are nice and most of them can speak fluent English. Our stay was comfortable. However, the hotel is quite far away from the main attractions as it is located in Colombo 06, but it was easy for us to take a tuk tuk to go to the main attractions and the fare was acceptable, like about 400 rupees.」

「We loved staying at Mihin villa with Mahinda and his family. We were initially booked for 2 nights but extended our stay to 4. Really comfortable room, big bathroom with hot water. The WiFi worked well and there was a fridge in the room which was an added bonus. Fantastic traditional breakfast cooked by Mahinda's wife which we ate in the lovely garden.
