「Room was clean, staff was great」

「The property and rooms were historic and charming. Our room was very private and spacious. Breakfasts were prepared with care and were delicious, with the same offerings each day. The proprietors were very helpful and kind.」

「Beautiful resort, friendly staff, excellent restaurant.」

「Bed, floor and surfaces appeared to be clean, but areas around the bathroom sink needed to be wipped or an attempt to be clean, and the light switches and electrical outlets need to be wiped down. I guess smoking is allowed as there were two ash trays in the room, and there was an odor in the room, possibly from someone smoking.this is the second time I have been to a motel 6, and this was better than the previous motel 6 in harrisonburg. 「Smoke detector missing off of the wall, had living bug on sheet when I pulled the bed open. Smelled extremely musty and had black mold in the bathroom. Cigarette stains on tub and sink. Dripping stains down the walls. Water stains on the ceilings. Burn holes through blankets on the bed. No trashcan in bathroom. Owners said they just acquired the property a few months ago so hopefully they will turn the place around.」

「We had never stayed in a bed and breakfast type place so we didnt know what to expect. The grounds are very beautiful, the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Fresh croissants which were amazing for breakfast. It was a good experience.」
