「The property was breathtakingly beautiful. We were greeted by smiling staff with a glass of champagne to be shown around the main house. Our room was just steps from the lobby and dining areas which was convenient, however, we did have to keep the blinds drawn most of the time as all our windows (including the bathroom) faced the front parking lot. 「This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. 「The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. 」

「We changed from two-person to family (+ two kids) in the last moment. They managed to provide reasonable arrangement. The location is excellent, very close to the main street with many good restaurants. Both the free breakfast and pre-dinner wine-and-cheese are better than what we expected from a local non-chain hotel.」

Great places to curl up with a book or, enjoy the outdoor seating.
