"The young owners of this property are very sweet, kind and really try to be helpful. They seemed that had not quite got the hang of being proprietors, but they are very likable. Compared to other places we stayed cluttered with not quite the same and amenities. The owner was very helpful when we got stuck in snow bank during a snowstorm via messages. I love their displays of art and the maps of the local area. The breakfasts were splendid and the host worked to accommodate the dietary needs of one of our group."

"Nice location close to lift system. Good crowd of young seasonal staff running the house. The property has some good features, such as small onsen, ski and drying room. Bedroom was a little noisy due to an adjacent boiler switching on and off during the night."

"Fantastic stay, perfect for your skiing or snowboarding trip. The rooms are large with lots of space, the onsen and shower area is well kept and peaceful. The staff are amazing and will shuttle you to close resorts as well as into town for dinner and pick you up. Highly recommend for your ski base! "

"Staff was friendly and working hard. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely updated… but they’re fighting an uphill battle against an aging run down building with apparently a long-broken elevator for 6 floors. Great price on difficult to find lodging in the area."
