The property had bugs in the rooms, holes in the sheets, no a/c anywhere but in rooms, scarce breakfast options and no working amenities like the pool, bar or anything in the lobby area. Appliances in rooms are old, the hotel smells like mold/wet air. The front desk was very kind and patient with upset customers and working to do everything they could to accommodate guests. I felt bad for them having to deal with that kind of situation over and over again with upset guests.

I was told the property was undergoing ownership change. Outside of the property needed a weed eater put to it. The air conditioning in the downstairs lobby wasn't working. Checking in was not pleasant. The desk clerk needed a class in friendliness and hospitality. Never did smile. Breakfast rated a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.

We booked this room- but we did not end up staying due to several issues and concerns we had with the property condition and cleanliness. Staff was understanding and did not charge us for our stay. We appreciated that very much.

Staff was nice. I was looking forward to the hot tub, but when we went down, the hot tub was cold, green and a millipede was crawling across the floor. No tiling around the pool, only carpet. The room was okay, and the elevator had a ceiling tile with exposed wires and fan. Breakfast was also mediocre.

Very disappointed in property. bed very uncomfortable, no pool or hot tub, no continental breakfast. amenities were advertised but not offered. many rooms had no hot water. the room discount of $20 off wasn't enough. lots of family stayed there, 5 rooms total for a wedding. not having a pool was a huge issue, especially with other issues as well .

My general impression is that the owners have decided to get what they can out of the property without doing any maintenance until it finally folds. The bathroom in the lobby smells like an overused outhouse after a hot summer. Check-in extremely slow. Pool closed as it is broken, same with hot tub. The breakfast consists of an orange or old banana, oatmeal from a package, or a stale wrapped donut or bagel. You have to hold the handle down on the commode for 10 seconds to get even a single piece of toilet paper to flush. Even the tips on the pool cues are almost all broken off. Just not maintaining the place.

The property is old and dated. In addition, there was no soda in the vending machine. It was sold out. I believe I was the only one at the hotel on the date that I stayed. In addition, the lady work in the front desk, she was not friendly when I ask for a receipt she was on her cell phone the entire time.

We visited Kirksville to home shop. Our stay at Days Inn was comfortable, and the pool was the warmest we have ever swam in! We had a wonderful time swimming. It is off season so it was very quiet the entire time. 5 star experience. Would stay again.

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the comfort of the beds. Amenities were not as advertised: the pool and hot tub were both not in working order; the bar was never open; and the breakfast consisted of only packaged bagels, donuts, pop tarts, coffee and juice. No milk, yogurt, waffles like the photos show there to be. There was no AC in the front lobby area, pool area, seating area for breakfast and the front doors were propped open all weekend with an industrial fan blowing in hot air. Tons of rooms had no door handles and locks, so a lot of vacant rooms. Elevator had exposed wiring in the ceiling of it. The hallway door to the stairs right next door to room 200 is so loud every time the door is used it sounds like some large item being dropped. In room 200 the safety railing is barely hanging on the shower wall. The bathroom was dirty on our arrival. Very few towels in supply, and NO soap, lotion, shampoo, etc. Thankfully we always bring our own! Three out of the four lamps in our room were not in working order. Smells of marijuana throughout the hallway. Room doors so paper thin you could hear right through them. Rubber landscaping all over the sidewalks and parking lot. Just a very dumpy place overall, not worth the money charged for the stay, would never stay here again. Very surprised that Expedia even advertises for this hotel.
