We've had no other complaints about the bed in that cabin and have had several return guests request that cabin specifically so we're guessing it's what type of bed you're accustomed to. We keep our prices down so furniture is maintained but not always updated. We're pleased you found our cabins clean as we pride ourselves on cleanliness at a good price.

Sorry to take so long to respond to your complaint. We do apologize for the treatment you received as it is our policy to order a taxi for our guests on request as we have a direct automated service. The staff member you dealt with has now moved on to other employment so we are confident this will not happen again.

Thanks for your review Fred. Getting here is no problem if you enter Farrelly's Road from the Bruce Highway. Unfortunately some navigator systems try to take you in the back way and the old median strip causes confusion. Glad you found us. Hopefully you'll drop by again now you know where we are.

We apologize for the unsatisfactory experience you had on your recent visit and can only conclude that the receptionist was flustered at not being able to find notification of your booking. The sms you received as confirmation came from Wotif, not the accommodation provider. The linen outside your cabin was awaiting pick up as the room had only just been cleaned, hence the fresh smell of cleaning agents. This can happen when we allow early check in. Again, we apologise if you were not happy with your stay here and thank you for your feed back. We usually have nothing but praise for our customer service but we always work on improving.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. Firstly, we apologize if the microwave and air-con were not properly cleaned. We don't consider that acceptable and are unsure how that happened as we get excellent feed back on our cleaning standards. I can only assume the early check in may have put pressure on our cleaners and an error was made. Hopefully our relief staff cleaned it for you when you advised them. We explain on booking that our bunks are suited to small adults or children. We agree, they are not suitable for large people although we do get many adults who use them. Our televisions pick up several channels so again, our staff could have checked the settings for you. We really are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay as we have many repeat customers who are very happy in the family rooms as they offer cooking facilities at an affordable price for families. We, the managers were away when you stayed and are unable to check with the relief staff what happened but we do hope that your complaints were dealt with at the time. We certainly "take on board" any dissatisfaction with our facilities and endeavour to make improvements where possible.

We did have an unusual cold snap at that time of year but we do provide extra blankets and there is a heater in each cabin. We are always happy to provide extra bedding if requested by anyone who feels uncomfortably cool.
