Hi Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. The motel has recently changed hands and the new owner has plans to refurbish many of the rooms. We acknowledge that some of the rooms are in need of a makeover. However, our team takes pride in meeting and exceeding guest expectations. We encourage guests who are not happy with their room allocation to advise the reception staff and request another room. The reception staff will happily accommodate your request.

Thank you for your feedback Barbara. You were moved to the accessible room for your stay as the room the system allotted for you was the first motel room at the very front of the property—and I didn't think you'd like the traffic noise. There are gardens behind the adjoining rooms you stayed in and I apologise you didn't get to see them from your room. There isn't a lot we can do about the brick exterior of the motel unfortunately...

Thank you for your review Kim. In your comments, I do note that you fail to mention that the staff tried to make amends to when you complained about your room and wanted to cancel the second night. The onsite manager provided you with a free upgrade to a larger 2 bedroom unit at no extra cost. We try to speak with all bookers and guests to make sure we meet everyone's expectations. However, sometimes this is not possible.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I noticed that your initial booking was for one night. You extended your stay by a further two nights. Booking direct and paying direct with the motel. At no stage during your three night stay did you request a move to another room. We would have happily accommodated that request had we known that you were not satisfied. We could have moved you to a room away from the guest who complained about the noise coming from your room (allegedly until 2am). These people cancelled their additional nights accommodation to find somewhere quieter. They did advise of their dissatisfaction, not with the room. But with the noisy guests next door. Thank you for your review. We are in the process of renovations but it will take time. We will look at more power outlets and a bedside table. WiFi has been looked at and hopefully we will not have to much problems from now on. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
