Good for a short stay with beach access

Mainly a caravan park with some villas. Very good beach. Comfortable stay. Clean. Quite crowded with multiple parked caravan. 20min drive to city Centre for food but there is a few good place nearby for meals.

Easy access to the beach, beautiful pool area and great outdoor kitchen setup. Well laid out cabin (small toilet room harder for a larger person to use but didnt detract from the overall stay), 2nd bedroom for the kids gets quite hot even with the wall fan, but we figured out that once we went to bed we just had to make sure we opened their door to allow airflow and more lounge seating would have been preferred as a 2 seater lounge with chaise doesnt really work with 6 people and using the dining chairs to watch TV kinda blocked the walkway from bedrooms to the door, but we made do as it was only for a few days. Overall though, everything was pretty good and we had no major issues. Receptionists were lovely, other guests were friendly, coffee van lady was very nice.

Villa at the Beach

I have just spent a week in a villa at Blacks Beach, Mackay. It was lovely and spacious, clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The beach was divine. We had a lovely, quiet stay. It's in a quiet, family friendly part of Mackay. There's a bit of a drive into town, but worth the travel to get there. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Zwischen Stopp für : Personen

Hatten uns eine Cabin für 3 Personen, für eine Nacht gemietet. Die Einrichtung war sehr komfortabel und sehr neuwertig. Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Toaster nebst Geschirr gehören zum Standard. Jedes Fenster verfügt über einen Mückenschutz. Leider mussten wir unseren Trip fortsetzen, denn ich wäre gerne noch geblieben. Falls ich nochmal an die Ostküste komme, ist ein Besuch hier garantiert.

Nice place to stay

This is a nice place to stay - it is a little out of Mackay though but not an issue if you are on holiday. The villas are new, small, but everything you need. The facilities are great, private beach, well maintained, staff very friendly and accommodating. Its not a big park, it doesnt have the big park stuff, its smaller and quieter with good facilities which is nice.

Excellent location, good facilities but overpriced

I can not fault the location, facilities, cleanliness or staff. Locals were friendly and helpful. $180/night for a self contained 'villa' was excessive in my opinion. One complaint only - pillows were like pancakes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A mini holiday that has returned many wonderful memories. Facilities were lovely. Room was very cold but discovered the heater second night. Other than that, perfect location and will return in the future.

We stayed in a cabin there was nothing we needed.

We just loved this area of Mackay. The only fault I could find was that the reception area did not have any information on local things to see and do. Local couple at the hotel were very informative . Eg. Eimeo Pacific Hotel a place not to miss..

fantastic place to stay

We stayed with our two children (1&2) in the self contained 2 bedroom villa. Heaps of room, everything was clean and tidy. All amenities covered In the villa.Kids loved the pool and the kids water play area. its all fenced off so perfect for keeping an eye on them. Park backs into the each which was very convenient, because the tide goes out so far it creates big puddles which are perfect for the younger ones. I would stay here again una heartbeat and would recommend it to others thinking about travelling to Mackay!!

Beautiful beach. Best holiday park in Mackay!

Camping - right on the beachfront; very shady and clean Great amenities - so clean and nice Awesome camp kitchen, beautiful pool area and fun water park for the little kids. And the cabins - quality fittings, very clean, lovely! Have not found a better camping spot, holiday park or hotel area in all of Mackay! We spent two days/one night in a cabin, but next time we plan on staying for a whole week camping right next to the beach. Loved it.
