Clean room, great staff and breakfast. Property is a bit dated, but great location on the water. There is a great boardwalk you can walk-in both directions. Stayed here for friends wedding. Would stay again.

The location and the breakfast were good, but the way that the hotel is divided in two buildings is very inconvenient. If you are on the side where the lobby is you are good, but on the other side there is no ramp to access the building. That was very inconvenient when we had to drag our four big suitcases up a long set of stairs. Then, you have to open two doors with your key to access such building, very crappy system. And the bell person was not very helpful at all.

the credit card machine was not working properly at checkin- instead of trying to resolve it the host was acting like it was my cards that were not working.

We have stayed here multiple times. We love the location. The staff is very helpful and caring. The rooms are quite roomy for SF standards. Did not eat there, although the breakfast options did look tasty. Lots of tv's in the bar so you can't miss the game. The one knock I can come up with is the valet retrieval does take a bit of time, but it's SF, and all the parking garages are not on site. Overall, because of the location, the staff and the rooms, this is our go to place whenever we go to SF.

Everything was clean and very quiet. Hotel was close to the golden gate and pier 39.
