We visited the Lower Klamath Falls National Wildlife Refuge area that was about 6 miles away. Wonderful birding. Lots of eagles and hawks and thousands of ducks and geese.

"It was a quick and inexpensive stay. I would have more to say and have a better evaluation, but I got there after 1 a.m. and only could sleep for 4 1/2 hours and didn't get a chance to fully look nor utilize the room. The best thing was the refrigerator which worked very well including the freezer. ..."

Small quiet town except for the Semi trucks passing. Gas station,liqueur store, hardware store, mini mart ,good Mex.restaurants, Bakery (with good coffee) all close by. All stores/shops we visited had friendly staff.
