"Was ok. Room above us was pretty loud and could hear them walking round for hours at night time. Room was clean and ok for the night"

"Plugging in my 3 electronics was a challenge but doable. Brown bag breakfast. Good Mexican food across the street."

"Basecamp lodge is a beautiful property slightly away from the main Mount Shasta town. The property is clean and you get "the freshest water in the USA" in the tap. The beds are big (we had a king bed) and very comfortable. You have beautiful Mount Shasta views from the property and it's close to all the hikes, waterfalls and lakes you want to visit."

"I did miss that there was no elevator and our room was on the second floor. So that was hard for a person like me who has trouble managing stairs. In addition, I found there was no decaf coffee option in the room or in the lobby. So I thought, well let’s get tea instead. And then there was an empty hot water carafe! Then we went to the breakfast place and I had an avocado toast. Alas, the avocado tasted like it was spoiled and it was brown. - But the pool and hot tub were nice."

"Wonderful pre-checkin communication. Very clean accommodations. Lovely setting. Much more isolated than anticipated. We were tired after driving all day and didn’t realize there weren’t dining establishments close to the inn. You need to get back on the highway and drive at least 10 miles for restaurants. There was a pizza restaurant that delivered to the hotel which we opted for."
