If you require a cool room to sleep at night, please do not stay at this Embassy suites. The facility was built in the 80s and when evening comes, the air conditioning goes off and you can only get heat. It was probably 80° in our room and the only way we could cool off was to open an unscreened window and open the door to the hallway, so that the breeze could blow through. The girl at the desk claimed there were no mosquitoes in the area when we told her we couldn’t leave the window open. That was untrue as LA was experiencing mosquito swarms from the spring rains. Also, there was no security if the window was left open. We left a day early, after tossing and turning all night. On the plus side, they reinstated their wonderful breakfast with fresh made to order omelettes., And their manager was very responsive to our issue the next morning and allowed us to check out without penalty. Expedia was fantastic in helping us resolve this. We spoke to Otto, who contacted the manager and worked out our refund for the second night when we checked out. I would definitely use Expedia again, because their customers service is wonderful.

Embassy Suites are always beautiful. It is a treat to stay here. We enjoy the extra perks, snacks and a drink in the early evening in addition to their good breakfasts. Very nice.
