Went to Point Park.
It was fun but we purchased the incline railway tickets and ruby falls and after we got through lookout mountain they were all booked up. They did refund us for what we purchased but it would have been nice to be told we have to book it or they’ll fill up and we won’t be able to use our tickets.
Be sure to do Ruby falls, Look out Mountain, rock city, and the and the incline railway. All of this is on the same Mountian and all within 15-20 minutes of each other. It is also with 15 of the hotel.
If you don’t want to take Incline Railway up, drive to Rock City on the Georgia side. Skip the fee and gravity pull.
Holidays have a lot of people so be patient.
We drove for a long time up the mountain trying to get a view but the real estate was bought up by homeowners. the only place to get the view of 7 states was from Rock City where you need to pay. I didnt find this out until I got down from the mountain and i had no desire to go all the way up again. But Lord willing, I will return and go directly there
