「Lovely, helpful and efficient staff. Great breakfast and evening meal. Fab shower and comfy bed. Good value for money. Skirtings in room very dusty. Very handy for Kentwell Hall. 」

「Bar was OK However there was no heating in my room Bed was great Shower was Terrible!! I’m a plumber. I couldn’t get the shower to work, only a dribble The only requirements I have when working away are a reasonable bed and a reasonable shower, is that to much to ask for?」

「The room was clean and comfortable, but could do with a little TLC. Nothing bad with the room, just a few bits that could do with a spruce up, like the shower as an example. Staff were great, all really friendly and helpful. WiFi was also good. 」

「The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. 」

「Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. 」
