Overall, this is a good, simple hotel. It's clean, well decorated, and nice. Breakfast is very basic (eggs, toast, 3 types of cereals, Tesco yogurt, tin fruit salad, tea/coffee/milk/water) and breakfast staff could easily be kinder (they were openly telling people that if they didn't want to wait, they should come down earlier for breakfast!!). My main issue is that the room only had very fine curtains which did not filter the light at all. It did not have blackout blinds or curtains. In June, when by 5am is already bright, this is a problem, especially if you are travelling with two kids, as I was.
