Everything was great. Although it's a bit out of the central zones, there's a bustop on the front of the hotel, and the hotel is also reachable from the other side of the Thames via Canary Wharf Station and a ferry boat (free for doubletree guests). It is really nice to have breakfast (great, btw) sitting by the Thames with the view of Canary Wharf's office buildings.

We took the C10 bus to our destination or transferred to the underground to go everywhere! Walked up the street to the Barn for breakfast, walked down the street for dinner at the Blacksmith’s Arms pub. Rooms were nice, quiet and had air conditioning!

The staff were great, but the facilities really need an upgrade. Our air-conditioning wasn't working properly in our room meaning the temperature was around 25-26.5°C during our 4 night stay. The toilet blocked continuously, meaning maintenance were coming in at least once a day to unblock it. Breakfast was great. The ferry across to Canary wharf was really handy. But this really didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.
