Comfortable and convenient if a little noisy
The place was comfortable and the hosts were gracious. My only objection was that the person in the room above mine was walking around and moving a chair at 3 am and the noise kept me awake.

It was a nice clean room but there was no fridge and no cooking appliances. There was only a kettle. Looking at the pictures on the site and going by the name ‘studio flats’ we expected at least a fridge no a microwave and toaster. We had to hang butter out the window and put milk in the sink with cold water. Great bus links co-op close by for food. Just be careful that the pictures are clearly not accurate for all the rooms.

Brilliant for those who want a warm space to sleep, especially for those going to Islington Assembly Hall for Gigs!
Walking distance from Kings Cross, St Pancras, Shopping, Camden, both Under and Over ground.
Affordable, private, clean, even a little hob/oven and fridge freezer. Will definitely be my go to in the future! Also so lovely to be contacted to be asked what time I’ll be checking in.
My only thing would be for those who need accessibility, let them know before hand for a room that’s appropriate. The bed in my room was up a steep stair case in the flat (2nd floor), it was beautiful, cozy and I was over the moon, but for those who struggle with mobility who are not in a wheel chair it wouldn't be suitable, so just make sure to let them know before hand your needs if any.
Loved it, it was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much! See you again soon ^^

Read the fine print: they expect you to arrive in a 3-hour window, and charge you 30 pounds extra if you don't. In thirty years of traveling, I've never seen anything like that. The room is a deeply overpriced hovel, even for London. We stayed another night, earlier, in Bloomsbury for half of the price, and in a larger room. The staff are unfriendly and unintelligible. I encourage you to keep looking.

Nice location with lots of coffee shops and food nearby. Very communicative staff. Room and bed were clean. Booking said the room had AC, and it did have one of the small, portable units that exhaust out the window, but it did not have a proper bracket for the window, nor did the AC ever seem to really work. This wouldn't have been such an issue if our stay wasn't during one of the hottest days in London this summer. Because of this, we ended up avoiding going back to the room until it had cooled off considerably outside. We did bring this to the attention of the staff, and they replaced the AC, but it really didn't make much difference. They did, however, give us an oscillating fan that we were able to set next to the bed, which made sleeping tolerable. The bathroom was a little tight, and the shower curtain was a bit mildewy and smelly. Overall, it was an adequate place to stay and would likely be very comfortable during a cooler time of year.

Just no.
Ok, I’m not quite sure how these apartments got such good reviews. I wasn’t happy with the room when I arrived, but things got worse. I accept that these are cheap(ish) places to stay and that London is expensive, but really - these are poor rooms. The room was downstairs and very small. The photos are misleading as there was no table and chairs, just a back door and a barred window (nice!) There was a hob that worked, but as there was no saucepan or frying pan I’m not sure what use this actually was. They had put an AC unit in the room, but it was very old and the size of a fridge, which limited the space in an already confined area. Ok, so it’s cheap, but in the morning it got worse. Turns out the toilet and the bath waste pipes are linked. The toilet was apparently a little blocked and, well, the waste came up through the bath plughole. You can imagine. I complained and, to be fair to the owners, they refunded both nights payment with good grace, but really, this is not somewhere you want to stay unless you are a backpacker or a student. It’s grim. And unless you check in within a specified time (2-5?) you have to pay an extra £30 fee. Well, at least they refunded that too.
The accommodation was more of a room with a small kitchen area rather than an apartment. It was very clean but lacked a few essentials. A hair dryer was supplied but there was no useable mirror to dry your hair or apply cosmetics. A toaster and microwave was the only cooking facilities. There was also a lack of cutlery and dishes. Despite mentioning the lack of these items none were supplied in the week we stayed.
For the price the room is good value for money. Make sure you are aware of the check in window. It is 2pm-5pm. There is a fee of £30 if you arrive after this time. For most people, who work this is not possible. This should be highlighted prior to booking rather than in small print after you have booked. There was also a £3.00 cleaning fee added that is not in the price. If you take these into account i'd stay again.
The owner collected me from the tube station as I was running late which was very kind. The studio was good for me although I would have appreciated a table and chair to work on. The neighbourhood was good with a supermarket close by and lots of eateries. Location was ideal for me for the Business Design Centre and Islington Town Hall. I would stay again.
Needed to stay in London on business and was looking for something affordable and close to the City (Square Mile). Found this studio which looked great and cheap. I stayed in Flat 1 which faces Caledonian Road.
It would have been excellent - BUT the small print is that they have a fixed check in window of 2pm to 5pm (which is IN most people's working hours) and if you can't do this, they will charge you £30!!!!! I just feel 5pm isn't honest - it's designed to catch people out. But at least, the landlord/manager did text me with plenty of notice and I was able to get there and avoid the charge.
Hotels.com needs to highlight these additions, as well as the "cleaning fees" which are now increasingly common and often hidden.
The flat itself is quite comfortable. One of the previous reviews said that she was concerned the same key opens ALL apartments - this is not the case - lock manufacturers can ensure all keys can open a common lock (being the main door) whilst providing access only to the assigned flat.
Amenities were basic but comfortable. A kitchenette provided a microwave / convection oven, and even two hotplates if you were feeling adventurous.
The windows definitely open AND close (despite the other review), but bear in mind this is a main road with quite a bit of noise.
Bathroom was excellent!
Please note: there is no desk provided. There were two chairs and a coffee table. So if you had hours of work to do (which I did), you will have to use your lap.
Close to kings cross and Caledonian road stations. Plenty of shops near by.

Nice room but poor location not like pics
Not like the pictures at all, host was welcoming and lovely room was nice and clean but location wasn’t great, didn’t feel safe at all as room key also works for front door so must mean all guests have same key, bars on windows very noisy outside.
Assez propre.
